MAPs Grant Professionals

Welcome to MAPs Nonprofit Professionals

Grant Writing is Our Passion
Who We Are
MAPs Nonprofit Professionals was established in 2010 with the mission to help individuals and organizations build agency capacity and individual competencies.  The approach we take to nonprofit capacity development is to fully engage in partnership with the agency we are serving.  As such, we work closely with management, program staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of the agency’s operations and needs, and to make certain we are offering services that will support, enhance, and supplement the organization’s goals.

The principal partners of the MAPs team, Marti Hess and Patricia Fitzmorris have over 20 years of combined experience in grant development, nonprofit management, and consultancy. Each has worked in the nonprofit or educational settings in various sectors including healthcare, social services, education, arts and schools. Our third partner, Alyson Evans, continues to be involved remotely from her new home in Ithaca, New York.
